I just completed the AHRS upgrade, including installation of the new GPS. Everything works great!! I can even easily capture GPS position from my apartment window, which was a bit tricky with the original GPS.
WingX has a green WAAS flag that indicates the connected GPS is using its WAAS capability. I am not seeing that WAAS flag. I assume that the new GPS is WAAS enabled. Is FlightBox sending WingX that flag?
