I have one of the early pi 2 based builds and have ordered the AHRS unit. Would it be advantageous to replace the board with a pi 3?. Are there any other advantages to going with pi 3 other than built in wifi?

Thanks,
Graeme.

There really is not a significant advantage to replacing the Pi 2 with a Pi 3. The AHRS board will work on either, and the Pi 2 has plenty of horsepower for this application. The only real advantage of the Pi 3 is the integrated Wifi - it frees up one USB port. The AHRS board will do that anyway as it replaces whatever GPS you have (probably the little VK-172) with the onboard GPS.
