The last few flights we noticed our Stratux hasn’t been receiving any ground towers. Yesterday we flew over
a Class C airport where I am sure there are some and still saw nothing. I just popped the top off and found the 1090 receiver had become unplugged from the mother board (and the other was almost joining it). The unit must have been dropped and they jarred loose.
I placed a little cube of plexiglass in the box to block the removal of the receivers so it should be good now. We’ll know the next time we fly. But for future reference (or possible design change to the box) you might want to look into something to make sure your receivers stay put.
