I’m in Canada, without access to the U.S. 978 ground stations. Should I upgrade my flightbox to Stratux 2.0? I can’t take advantage of the new capabilities.

Hi Mooney_Pilot,

We don’t track FlightBox updates exactly with the Stratux releases. We’re working on a 2.x release of our own that will incorporate a number of small bug fixes and a few new features that are specific to our FlightView product.

If your system is working properly and you’re not planning on installing FlightView, keep using what you have. If you decide you want to give FlightView a try, go ahead and install the 2.x version.

where can i get an update for the SD card in my flightbox kit? I built it and it works but I wanted the updated Stratux firmware. Where can I find this? thanks for your help!
