Please include a detailed description of your issue or question:

The GPS altitude flops back and forth between actual and approximately 3 times as much. For example, field elevation 900MSL it will rapidly display 900/3000/900/3000. Same things applies to all altitudes. I can email you fltplan breadcrumbs if that helps.

Edit: Flightbox on glareshield with excellent GPS reception.

Thanks,

John

Follow up: I uploaded my flight files to Fltplan Go tech support and they feel it’s the data coming from the Flightbox:

"Hi John,

Thanks for writing.

We have had no known issues and no other complaints with Breadcrumbs on FltPlan Go.
I just tested our sample Breadcrumb files on iPad and Android without issue.

I tested the Breadcrumb file in your account “-04-02-2017-04-03-2017” and saw what you are referring to.
FltPlan Go receives GPS data from either the tablet’s internal GPS source, or an external ADS-B unit.
In your case, FltPlan Go receives GPS data from the Flightbox.
If this GPS data is incorrect (altitude), it is due to what the Flightbox is sending.
Please verify that all settings and configurations are correct in the Flightbox.

_I synced a sample Breadcrumb file to your account. _
Please verify that you are able to open Breadcrumbs and view the file “MIN-02-24-2016”.

Hope this explains.
Thank you"

I did as they suggested and tried the sample they sent…no issues with the altitude.

Thanks,

John

Hi John. This is the first I’ve heard of an issue with altitude. I’ve not used the breadcrumbs feature of FltPlan Go. I’ll have to do a bit of experimentation and see if I can reproduce the issue.
